Backtrack is Linux debian based ( for BT 3 above ).
Usually Linux distros comes with vmstat, ps, free, top, pmap, netstat, lsof, w, uptime, and ss commands.
The others tools my comes with Backtrack distros, such as tcpdump.
Or you may install it using package manager apt-get install if you don't have the tools.
