Slam Buat para Master 2 disini semua............
ane install linux backtrack 5 RI di acer Core-i3
Tapi ada kendala sedikit WIFI ane gak kedetek.............
gimna cara nya Om............ spya bisa ke detekk ???
tolong pencerahnya..............

wew... saran ane, sebelum mulai pake backtrack, oprek2 linux distro dulu om untuk belajar (macem ubuntu/debian, fedora, centos/redhat) dll
soale yg make backtrack tu diasumsikan udah faham linux

btw, wireless-NIC nya tipe/seri apa? miniPCI kah ? USB kah ? PCMCIA kah ?

biasa nya sih omz... klw untuk ACER dah keditek langsung tuh di bt.... belajar

coba di cek dlu omz dah aktif apa blom wifi nya....
klw blom aktif coba diaktifiin omz...

wicd networking start
ifconfig wlan0 up
/etc/init.d/networking start

saya juga ngalamin seperti ini di backtrack saya, wireless-NIC nya tipe PCMCIA.
Gimana yah solusinya ? tolong pencerahaannya

mau nambahin, kalo mau liat merk hardware wifinya pake command lspci om ketawa
trus cari network controller deh hmm
kalo bingung coba copas semua hasil dari command lspci tsb om ketawa
